I don't often find that my barns are overrun with non food items, partly because I use the Ridiculous Storage mod found here: I only use Market Carts/Stalls when I need to make sure materials are close to specific businesses, such as blacksmiths. Do you set an advance team forward, example being sending a log vendor with a stone vendor, and a construction vendor?ģ. Do you plan an expansion carefully? Or let it happen naturally?Ģ. And the expansion is to begin tinning food, or building different professions that you can't build without adding clay, glass, and other professions.ġ. After the initial building of your town, these questions assume you have a good handle of food/tools/resources. For very large mods you can spend several minutes with a black screen while it's loading. If the mod(s) you enabled is(are) large, it can take a while. If the freeze happens after you enabled the mod, when you exit the main menu and confirm the change, it's because the game is reloading stuff. Maybe Steam hasn't finished downloading the mods you subscribed to in the workshop, or you somehow got a corrupted file. If the freeze happens when you try to access the mod menu, there's something weird going on. (You'll also crash if you try to load a save while having anything that isn't a Banished save in the Save folder.) If you added mods manually in the Windata folder, make sure you only have files in.
